Biography

David Orchard is a technical director in BEA Systems' Architecture and Standards group, focusing on web services standards. He is a member of the W3C Technical Architecture Group, XML Core and XML Protocol committees, OASIS security services (SAML) committee, and is BEA's W3C AC representative. He is currently or has been a co-editor of the XML Link and XInclude specifications, and the SAML domain model and core assertions document. He is actively involved in Web Services JSRs. He has written numerous technical articles and is a frequent speaker on various internet related technologies.
