What was inside? On April 3, 1996 federal investigators raided the cabin, arresting the Unabomber and finding 'a wealth of bomb components; 40,000 handwritten journal pages that included bomb-making experiments and descriptions of Unabomber crimes; and one live bomb, ready for mailing' according to .
According to, the cabin also contained the very basic cot upon which Kaczynski slept during his more than two decades there.
There was also a cluttered workbench, which doubled as a kitchen counter.
The cabin's shelves were littered with bomb parts and chemicals and baking powder containers used for storing various hardware.
Next to the cabin was a firewood shed surrounded by a barbed wire fence and a 'no trespassing' sign attached to it.
